Call for Papers:

Carbon Capture

and Storage

Safeguard our planet's future by exploring methods to capture and store carbon dioxide, from enhancing natural carbon sinks to innovative geological and oceanic storage solutions.

We invite researchers, scientists, engineers, policymakers, and industry professionals to submit abstracts on carbon sequestration and storage for presentation at the Middle East Carbon Tech Expo. Abstracts should address innovative technologies, research findings, case studies, and best practices related to terrestrial carbon sinks, geological carbon storage, and oceanic carbon sequestration.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
  • Carbon capture and utilization (CCU) technologies and applications
  • Enhancing carbon storage in forests, wetlands, and agricultural soils
  • Geological carbon storage methods, including CO2 injection and underground storage
  • Ocean-based carbon sequestration techniques, such as algae cultivation and ocean fertilization
  • Policy frameworks, incentives, and regulations supporting carbon sequestration and storage initiatives
  • Case studies of successful carbon sequestration and storage projects

Submit your abstracts by 13 October 2024 for consideration.

Accepted abstracts will be presented at the Middle East Carbon Tech Expo and published in the conference proceedings.

Contribute to the advancement of carbon sequestration and storage technologies and practices by sharing your research and expertise with a global audience of industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers.
